Meet your mentor
Andrew Murphy
Originally from the UK but now based in Melbourne, I started out as a software developer and have been writing code for over 22 years, but this isn't what I'm the most proudest of.
As a psuedo-extrovert, I would never have dreamt that I'd be standing in front of people, on a stage, delivering workshops, keynote speeches and presentations, as well as being a Head Geek and Coach.
In my experience, a brilliant technical mind is great but writing better code is not the answer as we progress in our careers.
We need more than our technical skills.
I talk about topics that I'm passionate about, share my experiences and teach the skills that software managers, tech leads, consultants and heads of department need to succeed as a leader in technology.

FAQs
1. Do you have any other plans?
I don't offer a 1 month or 2 month mentoring plan.
It takes time to learn a new skill but more importantly to practise it in your current situation and build a new habit, so a 3-month course is a good timeframe to review and put into practice what you have learnt.
I'd invite you to book in for a discovery call so I can learn more about you and so you could learn more about me.
2. What do you need from me in the personal mentoring sessions?
These sessions are for professionals within the technical industry that want to learn and become a leader. Just come with an open mind and positive attitude.
3. I work full-time, when can we have these sessions? Are they in-person or virtual?
Sessions can be virtual on a Zoom call or in-person. We can discuss what suits your schedule on the first call.
4. I'm not sure what plan is right for me, where should I start?
Perhaps begin with the discovery call so I can answer your questions, let you know how it works, get the chance to get to know each other and discuss a plan of how to move you forwards to where you want to be.
5. Is there a payment option?
Payments can be paid in full or paid in 3 instalments. Instalments incur an additional 10% surcharge.
