Debugging Leadership in the AI Era Program

With a program of live, interactive workshops that help you build leadership skills because AI can’t lead your team.

# Scale Your Leadership Architecture

# Scale Your Leadership Architecture

AI is changing how we work. Code is no longer the bottleneck because AI can generate, refactor, and ship it faster.

You got promoted for your technical expertise but the engineers who thrive from here won't be the best coders. They'll be the ones who can lead, connect engineering work to business outcomes, solve business and customer problems, support and guide their teams towards the same goals.

This program of live, in-person workshops help engineers build the leadership skills AI can't replace (strategy, communication, decision-making, and team dynamics). They’re hands-on, practical sessions, built by an engineer for engineers navigating this change.

Leadership skills aren’t as clear as code, but it can be learnt.

Develop your leadership skills

Go from doing to leading. Build the communication, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills that you didn’t learn when you got promoted.

Build and lead a high performing team

Learn to delegate, develop your people, and create a team that delivers without you being the bottleneck. Measure success by their output, not yours.

Lead and practice with confidence

Practical frameworks and advice from a tech leader. Your peers in your cohort keeps you accountable so you practice what you learn.

# Curriculum

# Curriculum

Translate your engineering work into business outcomes, and learn to communicate the why and the value of your work.

Think beyond the sprint. Learn how to make decisions that align up to the bigger business objectives by balancing reactive work with proactive leadership.

Collaborate better and have more meaningful conversations with people in your team by understanding their points of view, perspectives and feelings.

Work with product, design, and other engineering teams when you’re responsible for the delivery.

Identify conflict early and address it before it becomes a bigger problem. Learn how to give actionable feedback and have those difficult conversations.

Take ownership of your decisions and follow through with them. There’s a difference between accountability and responsibility, and it matters.

Engineering Leader & Educator

Andrew spent 20+ years in tech, starting as a developer and working his way to CTO. Along the way he discovered that being great at code doesn't make you great at leading people, and nobody tells you that when they promote you.

Now he runs workshops for tech leaders, teaching the communication, trust-building and strategic thinking skills he had to learn through trial and error (heavy on the error side!).

Tech leadership educator
15+ yrs exp (Software engineer to CTO). Led and grew engineering teams. Shipped products at scale-ups and enterprises.
Creator of Tech Leaders Launchpad
CTO at AI health-tech company, PatientNotes.app
